The SO PRO programme is a three-day industry get-together that takes place during the Solothurn Film Festival. From Thursday to Saturday, 23 to 25 January 2025, accredited visitors will be offered pitching sessions, workshops, panel discussions and networking events at the Stadttheater Solothurn.
Opportunity for film music composers in the SO PRO programme
Pitching sessions will take place on Thursday, 23 January 2025: Seven directors, seven artists from various fields – including two film music composers – and five Swiss publishers will present their projects to an expert audience.
SUISA members and principals can apply for the pitching session or participate as an accredited audience member. Please note: The number of places for audience participation is limited – please arrive in good time.
Applications for the pitching sessions
Artists from the fields of film music and sound design have the opportunity to present their portfolios to experienced and aspiring producers and directors. Afterwards, the networking aperitif offers the opportunity for personal dialogue.
Portfolios can be submitted by e-mail to sopro (at) solothurnerfilmtage (dot) ch until 8 December 2024 (closing date).

10 professional tickets for SUISA members
The SO PRO programme is aimed at established filmmakers as well as students and industry professionals in the field of filmmaking technology. The rest of the SO PRO programme is also worth attending: A presentation of the new programmes by Swiss film institutions will take place on Friday, 24 January 2025. On Saturday, 25 January 2025, there will be networking and exchange opportunities in the course of presentations, workshops and meetings. The evening concludes with the festive “Notte delle Visioni”.
