Personalised or mass-produced songs?
An often-heard prejudice: Songs from camps do not have a personal touch or are even considered to be mass-produced. But is that really the case? Our panellists will provide insights into their experiences with co-writing processes. They show how small teams of three to four people can create not only excellent demo recordings but also authentic, emotional songs in a single day. In doing so, they debunk the myth that co-writing is only for those who can’t write songs on their own.
Songwriting camps as a career springboard
In addition to creative collaboration, songwriting camps offer an ideal platform for networking. Talents from all over the world meet here to develop songs together. Participants benefit from the exchange of expertise, new impulses and the opportunity to forge long-term musical partnerships. In many cases, it’s not just hits but also careers that are created here.
The role of the producer
In songwriting camps, a producer is an integral part of each team and actively contributes to the creation of a song as a songwriter. But what does this role look like outside the camp environment? What tasks does a producer/take on in the regular music production process from the initial idea to the finished song?
