What began as an experimental kick-off has developed into a permanent fixture on the European festival calendar – with a clear focus: To celebrate Zurich as the UNESCO City of Techno and creative hub in the heart of Europe.
With panels, workshops, masterclasses, concerts and club nights, Zurich Music Week (ZMW) combines discourse and music – and allows artists, producers, organisers and music enthusiasts from all over Europe to network. The centre of the action is at Kraftwerk, Zurich, a former power station with a sunny terrace, bar and spacious event hall.
SUISA panel: The dance with and around AI
As part of this year’s conference programme, the panel “The dance with and around artificial intelligence” curated by SUISA will take place on Tuesday, 5 August 2025, 5.30 to 7pm at Kraftwerk Zürich, Selnaustrasse 25, in Zurich.
Current developments in AI-supported music production, creative responsibility and copyright will be discussed. Where does the tool end and where does the creative control of the algorithm begin? Who is the author of AI-generated music?
